Meet the Team

Jana loves living in her hometown of San Antonio. She began her professional career as an EMT, serving for 3 years before becoming the Human Resource Coordinator for a San Antonio-based home IV therapy company. With her exceptional people skills, a friend recommended that she pursue an administrative position in a general dentistry office. So in 1995, Jana launched her career in dentistry, and in July 2007, she joined the team at Culebra North Dental Care, now serving as the Insurance Coordinator. Jana enjoys her family roles as wife, mother and grandmother. When she isn’t “loving” on her four grandkids, she pursues gardening and traveling beyond the San Antonio borders. Jana loves helping patients in the San Antonio area realize the significance of creating not only a beautiful smile, but also a healthy smile, through effective general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.

Cheryl hails from Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, spring boarding to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; here, she discovered a love of dentistry, graduating in 1978 with the first class of the Dental Hygiene school. Her educational dentistry pursuits gave her not only a degree, but also her future husband, Jon. After working in Dallas for a general dentist, she returned to San Antonio, marrying Jon in 1979. Since then, Cheryl and Jon have worked as a team at their general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry practice here in San Antonio. It always thrills Cheryl to see a person’s life changed due to the care and treatment given by the dentists and staff. When not practicing dentistry, Cheryl loves piano, books, photography and travel. She enjoys her three children and great family times. Cheryl loves working with her best friend and husband every day, creating gorgeous smiles through general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in the San Antonio area.

Theresa joined the Culebra North Dental Care team in September of 1989 as a chairside dental assistant. She’s assisted the dentistry practice of CNDC in many capacities, including as clinical coordinator, hygiene coordinator and currently, administrative assistant. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth. She lived in Japan for four years, attending the University of Maryland Far East division before moving to San Antonio. She proudly raised two sons, and now enjoys five grandchildren. While not working in the cosmetic dentistry field, she sings, sews, works in her church and goes on dates with her husband.

Debra joined Culebra North Dental Care in 1994 as the periodontal assistant when they implemented a progressive, non-surgical soft tissue management program in their hygiene department. She currently serves as an administrative assistant and hygiene coordinator at the San Antonio office. She holds a diploma in fitness and nutrition, a certification in dental radiology, and extensive OJT and continuing educational training in many aspects of general dentistry. Married with five grown children, Debra loves music, singing and reading. She and her husband, Fred, enjoy healthy, active lifestyles, and they are avid sports fans – especially of the San Antonio Spurs!

Kim graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a certificate in Dental Assisting in 1979, then worked as a dental assistant at a dentist’s private practice and at the UTHSC Dental School until she started her family in 1982. In 1992, Kimberly returned to UTHSC at San Antonio to become a dental hygienist. She graduated with honors in 1996 and ever since then has pursued dentistry at Culebra North Dental Care. Kim’s wishes to provide consistent quality care for all of her dentistry patients. Some of Kimberly’s hobbies include gardening, remodeling her home and traveling to new places.

Tricia graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and pursued dentistry as a hygienist for the past 19 years. In 1998, she began helping Culebra North Dental Care to construct beautiful smiles through cosmetic dentistry. She and her husband of 16 years live in the San Antonio area; when she’s not busy transporting her daughter to activities or creating beautiful smiles through cosmetic dentistry, she enjoys relaxing with a good book.

Lydia has worked to provide quality cosmetic dentistry as a dental assistant at Culebra North Dental Care for 6 years, but she’s pursued dentistry in the assisting profession for over 16 years. Lydia comes to San Antonio from the Rio Grande Valley, where she started her career as a dental assistant in a general dentistry practice. She loves all areas of dentistry and especially enjoys working with her talented dentists and teammates. Lydia flourishes in her marriage of 25 years which procured her two children and two grandchildren. When not at the San Antonio dentistry office, she enjoys fishing with her family.

Jennifer joined the team at Culebra North Dental Care in 2009 after receiving her Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She worked in dentistry as a dental assistant for three years prior to attending dental hygiene school. Jennifer enjoys the general dentistry aspect of her position, educating patients about the connection between their oral health and overall wellbeing. Jennifer migrated to San Antonio from Dayton, Texas. She has resided in San Antonio for seven years and spends her time away from cosmetic dentistry with her husband, George, and their two sons.

Eydie graduated from Galend College in Modesto, California in 1999 as a Dental Assistant. She worked in a general dentistry practice, where she gained experience in the areas of oral surgery, pedodontics and administrative management. Edyie moved to San Antonio in July 2007; in November 2007, she began her dentistry journey at Culebra North Dental Care. When Edyie steps away from brightening smiles through cosmetic dentistry, she enjoys riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle on trips in and out of San Antonio, spending hours at the beach, exercising and sharing time with family and friends.
